Klowong Batik Candle, its own function to cover decorative and batik designs that are done in rengreng and nerusi (back and forth on two sides of the fabric surface). The motive framework that uses this candle is usually an isen-isen which is a decoration and ornament on batik cloth, for example like cecek, sawut etc. Candles with this type have characteristics, are easily runny when heated and are also very fast freezing if not maintained the stability of the heat and the temperature of the stove, can make a sharp line of motifs and its own adhesion is strong enough, the same as wax wax, this candle is not resistant to alkaline solutions, easily diluted and leaves no trace after being sagged. It's just that, this type of candle is easily broken and crushed if we are not careful and give the wrong treatment on batik cloth. Regarding : https://infobatik.id/fungsi-lilin-batik-klowong/

Tembokan Batik candles. When tracing the use of names and terms, of course these candles are like a barrier wall, so this candle is used to keep the cloth with a motif on it perfectly blocked. This candle has the following characteristics: when heated this wax is fairly long enough to be liquid and if its stability is not maintained it can quickly freeze, this candle is easily attached to the fabric so that the binding capacity is strong, resistant to alkaline solutions, very difficult to escape from water soaking so very difficult, but the benefits do not leave marks when we finish. Biron batik wax (malam) is a type of batik wax that is used in mbironi process (covering certain area of dyed motif). Mbironi process has an important role in the quality of batik products. Many of the batik products with natural dyes are not in good quality due to the dye seepage as the result of the low quality of the biron wax used in the process. This study aims to obtain a good biron wax composition for the production of natural dye batik. This research was conducted by random experiment method using variation of biron wax raw material composition i.e paraffin and used wax. The biron wax prototype was then applied to cotton and silk fabrics. Biron wax tests include melting point test, identification of sharpness of motif and color, and test of wax clean from fabric. From the research, can be resulted that biron wax that have the best quality for cotton fabrics is a formula of 1 part kote, 5 part paraffin, and 4 parts batik wax former, as for the best composition of biron batik wax for silk fabrics with a formula of 2 parts gondorukem, 5 parts paraffin, 14 parts batik wax and 1 parts of kendal.
